CHARACTER: Name: Penny Julia Lane. Age: 26. DOB: 10/13/1988. Gender: Female. Sexual Preference: Heterosexual, but will go gay for pay. Marital Status: Divorced. Mutation: She has control of desert like weather. Basically, she can emit very hot, dry heat when she wants to. She has yet to discover this, however. Height & Weight: 5'5, 136lbs. Appearance: Tell tale scars across her chest and back that before the world went to shit she would hide with make up, long blonde hair and blue eyes. Very fit body, having been a stripper since she was 16. Everything she managed to carry from home is universally considered skanky and would automatically label her as someone with low self respect, but since then she has looted wherever she could and her wardrobe has expanded to... whatever fits. Possessions: Smith and Wesson Model 910 Pistol, and a bag containing clothing, food, and extra ammunition. Religious Views: Decidedly atheist. Previous Occupation: Stripper. Personality: While not normally considered one with much self respect, in the past few days she's done what she's always been able to do best- survive. Surviving where others have failed, particularly those she knows and demons from her past, have helped her to see herself in a new light. Although she may still need therapy (in a normal society) and is terrified out of her mind, especially at night, she's come to recognise herself as a strong, independent woman who will be able to make it through this. Somehow. However, even though she no longer wears her heart on her sleeves, it is very vulnerable and accepting. Finding a community would give her a great relief, knowing that even though she can make it through this alone, she won't be alone. Humans are social creatures, after all. Reuniting with other people would probably bring out some of her old character traits- flirtatiousness (sluttiness), cockiness, a penchant for pushing the boundaries of what other people can take, and a rather vulgar, unorthodox humour, mixed with a very motherly, concerned feeling for how others she is attached to are doing. However, realising that this is a different world, she'll try to rein it in. Somewhat.
